1. What this site is

This is a free, community study resource for the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) exam, made by 0x6a03448f4d to spread knowledge and help people study. By using it you agree to these terms.

2. Educational use only

All course text, practice questions, PBQ simulations, and acronym definitions are original study material inspired by the publicly available exam objectives. They are not real exam questions, and using this site does not guarantee you will pass any exam. Content is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

3. Accounts and saved progress

Saving progress is optional and works with an avatar name instead of an email or password. The name is the only access key: anyone who knows the name can open, change, or delete the progress saved under it. You are responsible for choosing a name that is hard to guess and for keeping it to yourself. Do not use your real name or any personal information as an avatar name.

To keep the service healthy we enforce automatic protections: sign-in and account-creation attempts are rate limited per name and per network address, and accounts inactive for 30 days are permanently deleted, which frees the name for others. We may remove accounts whose names are offensive or that abuse the service, and we may adjust these limits at any time to protect the site.

Saved progress is study data provided for convenience, with no guarantee of availability or durability. Keep your own backup with the "Export backup" option if your progress matters to you.

CompTIA and Security+ are registered trademarks of CompTIA, Inc. This site is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CompTIA.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, and do not present this material as real exam content. You are welcome to share the site with other students.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this site, including exam outcomes, study decisions, or loss of locally stored progress data.
